Types of Plans:

PPO (Preferred Provider Organization)
A PPO is a type of plan that offers the flexibility of using providers that are outside of the plan's network. The trade-off for this flexibility is higher premiums and/or higher out-of-pocket costs for out of network providers.

HMO
A Health Maintenance Organization is a type of plan where your healthcare is managed or facilitated by a primary care physician thru a network of approved specialists and providers. Seeing specialists or providers outside the network for non-emergency services are typically not covered.

Short-Term Medical Plans
Are you in-between jobs? Started a job where your benefits haven't begun yet? Or do you do not want the minimum essential health benefits offered by a Major Medical plan? Short-term medical plans are the answer.

Short-Term Medical plans are not ACA compliant medical plans. They are plans that provide varying levels of coverage.

Guaranteed Issue
These plans will be issued regardless of how you answer the application questions. These plans have higher premiums and higher out-of-pocket costs.
Standard
These plans require that you successfully answer health questions. You can be denied coverage.

Short-Term Medical plans can have coverage start as early as the next day, and have a term as short as a month, to 6-months, and some can be renewed. Rules apply.

Some of our carriers waive the waiting periods for Basic and Major Services if you had coverage within 60 days. Making them a more effective option than COBRA.

Vision coverage is important for kids, poor vision can lead the issues with reading for kids. For adults, poor vision can impact driving, along with providing early detection for serious ailments.
